Details

  • Material: Premium rabbit fur felt, pre-shrunk for durability
  • Colours: Chestnut, Jaguar Green, Bordeaux, Havana, London Tan, Navy (limited edition colour range)
  • Crown: 11cm pinch-front, 8cm at the back, sloping teardrop shape
  • Brim: 8cm wide
  • Band: Grosgrain ribbon with a classic bow detail, on the left hand side for unisex wearability
  • Interior: Dark brown calf leather sweatband, gold-embossed Herbert Johnson branding

Every Swaine Fedora is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail using only the finest sustainably sourced materials.

Avoid handling your hat by the crown as you could wear out the front pinch. Holding your hat by the brim is the best way to handle any hat. We advise against wearing your hat in heavy rain. If your fur felt hat does get wet, shake off any excess water and allow to dry naturally placed brim faced down at room temperature. Never force dry your hat using any form of heat source. If required, use your hands to gently reinforce the shaping of the crown and brim. When completely dry, lightly brush to clean.

Size Fit

When measuring for a Herbert Johnson hat, please place string or tape around your head above your ear and across the mid forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Measure your head exactly where you want the hat to sit. It may help to either do this in the mirror or have someone to help for accuracy. Measure in centimetres. If your measurement falls between sizes, round up to the nearest half centimetre and/or email your exact measurement to our team and they will be happy to advise you.

For more information please email enquiries-hj@herbert-johnson.co.uk.

A professional measuring service is also available at our Swaine stores on New Bond Street and at the Burlington Arcade.
