  - From the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia.
  - Trees are 70 - 100 years or older before harvesting. As the tree matures, its wood becomes more dense and stable, which is crucial for umbrella sticks that need to be both strong and resistant to wear and weather.
  - Smooth, fine texture.
• Canopy: Made from 100% silk with a refined ten-panel design for a smoother, more elegant silhouette.
• Frame: Reinforced steel shaft and ribs for exceptional durability.

After use in rain, fully open the umbrella to allow the silk canopy to dry naturally. Storing the umbrella while damp may damage the silk fabric and compromise its longevity.

Gently shake to remove excess water, but avoid rolling or tightly closing the umbrella while wet.

Keep the Macassar ebony handle clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or prolonged exposure to moisture, which may dull the wood’s finish.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, to preserve the silk canopy and prevent warping of the handle.

Due to the exclusive nature of our products we do not stock large quantities. If made to order this product will take up to 10-15 weeks to be handcrafted by our specialist leatherwork team.

If the product is in stock delivery time from date of dispatch is dependent on location; typically 2-4 working days for UK orders and 3-5 working days for overseas orders (depending on customs clearance and location).

Unless otherwise agreed, for sales made and delivered to customers outside the United Kingdom, the price is invoiced exclusive of tax and VAT, customs duties and any other taxes applicable to the products in the country of delivery will be payable by the customer and may be claimed on delivery.
