Snakewood Umbrella - Black

• Handle: Handcrafted from Snakewood, 'Piratinera guianensis'.
  - From South America, particularly in the Amazon Basin, primarily found in regions such as French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname.
  - Trees are 40 - 60 years old before harvesting. The wood’s hardness and unique grain comes from the mature heartwood.
  - Reddish-brown base with dark streaks or spots that resemble the patterns of reptile scales.
  - Very fine and smooth texture.
  - Incredibly dense and hard wood, exceptional durability and resistance to wear and tear.
• Canopy: 100% silk, with a ten-panel construction for strength and durability.
• Frame: Reinforced steel shaft and ribs for enhanced strength and long-lasting durability.
• Features: A polished silver collar and custom ferrule.
  

After exposure to rain, fully open the umbrella to allow the silk canopy to dry naturally. Storing the umbrella while damp may damage the delicate fabric and reduce its lifespan.

Gently shake the umbrella from side to side to remove excess water. Avoid rolling or tightly closing the umbrella while it is wet.

Wipe the Snakewood handle with a soft, dry cloth to maintain its beautiful grain pattern. Avoid using harsh chemicals, water, or abrasive materials that could damage the wood.

Store the umbrella in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, to preserve both the silk canopy and the Snakewood handle.
